Laura is the perfect host providing an immaculate, charming, and well appointed home. My son and his family are outdoor people so they loved the wooded setting and still being easily accessible to shopping, restaurants, and major highways. Laura came to their rescue when the youngest forgot gloves. She shared a pair when they stopped at the front house to inquire where to shop. They were impressed with this kindness and all the niceties in the home. The floor plan is conducive to any number of activities and the kitchen is well equipped. My son cooked a delicious holiday meal for the seven of us followed by a raucous game of charades. All went off without a hitch! I have read reviews where people say they wish they could give ten stars to their hosts. I am now joining that group. If you wish to be anywhere in northwest Ohio this place and this host should be sought out. It's apparent upon entering that Laura has set out to provide an exceptional stay away from home.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Laura’s property. It is extremely well located – whether that’s for local conveniences (e.g. shops, restaurants, etc) or for driving to downtown Cleveland or other destinations on the East Side of Cleveland (only a 10 minute drive to Chagrin Falls, for example). The house was very clean and well presented with lots of amenities. We would not hesitate to stay at Laura’s property in the future.

My family and I were traveling to the Cleveland area so we could visit both the city and Chagrin Falls (where I grew up – and my kids had never been). After doing some searches, we landed on The Way Back. It was a great choice. The first thing we noticed as we got in was just how immaculately clean the house was. My wife, who is a huge stickler about that even commented how she couldn’t believe how nice it was. The house itself is very well appointed and has all of the conveniences. There are plenty of shops and restaurants near by should you need anything, it it was a quick drive to downtown Cleveland and Chagrin Falls (which is where we spent the bulk of our time). While the house is on the host’s property, it feels very private. The house is very spacious, the beds are comfortable, and its interior is beautiful. Essentially, it is an ideal place for a weekend trip, or a longer stay. The host (Laura) was great at communication, and I highly recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the southeast Cleveland area. There are four of us – so 8 thumbs up!
